Dear Colleagues,
Here is a time-lapse video of what Gerald Taylor and I created for the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation during the 2011 World of Concrete International Expo in Las Vegas. This is the 125th year anniversary of Bosch. The video compresses two long days into 1 ½ minutes. Insane! We used approximately 6 different power tools with at least 6 different accessories to carve out a concrete relief sculpture. Then we added Smith Paints concrete stain to bring it to life. Finally, I photographed the actual saw blades, printed out labels, and attached them to the surface to enhance the “fool-the-eye” effect.
